This neat Yurt is 15 minutes south of interstate I-20 & Talladega Speedway between Birmingham AL and Atlanta, GA. Located on beautiful Logan Martin Lake which is known for fishing and boating. Must be 25 to rent this property. No parties, loud music or lewd behavior. Respect the RV community. The Pacific Yurt sleeps 8 if someone sleeps on the couch. It has a private bedroom with two twin beds or place together for 1 king, a loft with 1 full mattress, 1 queen mattress and 1 long twin mattress. Heating and air. The kitchen has granite counter tops, stove, refrigerator, regular coffee maker & microwave. Charcoal grill on the deck. Bathroom has a stand up shower w/15 gallon hot water heater. We provide clean towels and linens for the beds. Deck is over looking the lake. No animals allowed or inside the yurt. The yurt is made of Vinyl and one swipe of a paw can do a lot of damage. No smoking inside of the yurt. Check-in time is 3 PM and check out time is 11 AM. This has been a special part of our family for over 35 years, and now we are ready to share with a select few. This is a 125 year old farm house that was originally a stable, and converted approx. 80 years ago. It is actually 2 bedrooms with a 3rd virtual bedroom, using a drawn curtain in the living room. It is more like a cabin than the Ritz Carlton, but is really about the atmosphere and picturesque views from every spot on the island. The lake was created along the Coosa River approx. 60-80 years ago and the island remained. This is one of only a small handful of privately owned islands in the state Our island offers amazing fishing, spectacular sunsets every day, and tons of activities such as swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing. We also have many other games for all to enjoy, such as ladder ball and corn-hole. Bird Enthusiasts: Recently we have witnessed American Bald Eagles flying above (believed to be mating) and even perching on the island, and Osprey. The island has also been witness to the recent Great White Pelican migration for several days each year. There are several Canada Goose nests around the island. And, is home to 30-40 endangered egrets, nesting high in the pine trees. The Space: This is a one-of-a-kind privately owned island on Logan Martin Lake. It is 3-1/2 acres when the lake is at full pool. It is perfect for family vacations or just a quiet escape with you and your loved one. You and your guests will have exclusive access to this private escape. There will be no other guests during your stay. Guest Access: You will have a 360 degree view of Logan Martin Lake from almost every spot on this gorgeous private island. You will have a deep-water floating pier to dock your boats, sun bathe, etc. There is a sandy beach side to the island for swimming, and a shallow peninsula side that is popular for fishing. You will have use of our canoe, paddle boat, kayak, paddle board, grill, Big Green Egg, hammocks, swings, many life jackets, and folding beach chairs throughout your stay. Interaction with Our Guests: We will be there when you arrive to escort you to the island and show you where to find everything. If you do not bring your own boat, we will return to escort you back across with your belongings at check-out. Depending on our bookings we may have to attend to perform routine maintenance. The Neighborhood: Our easement where you will park is part of a subdivision of homes located along the lake. We can only accommodate 6 vehicles or less. We have sufficient space for (1) pontoon boat, and (2) personal watercraft. Getting Around: We have a boat ramp for boats 22 ft and smaller. Otherwise, there are quite a few larger boat launches at the local marinas. Feel free to bring your boat and tie-up to our floating pier. Or, rent a pontoon boat from one of the local marinas. Otherwise, you can use our canoe, kayak, or paddle boat as you means of transportation to and from the island. It is only 350 ft across to the easement and fixed pier, where your cars will be parked. Other Things to Note: Feel free to bring your dogs, as they can roam free without supervision (in most cases). You are responsible for any damages they cause. House Rules: Will be Posted. There are approximately 8 "spaces" for parking in the front yard and one covered space in the carport. The front yard is mostly gravel with some landscaped areas. There is a 2-sided grill. It is a propane gas/charcoal grill outside the kitchen door for your use. Also in the bottom of the boat house is an outdoor fire grill that u can use wood or charcoal in. We have 2 canoes in bottom of boat house for your use. Please wear life jackets. There is Apple TV for your use to connect with. The router is plugged in on the kitchen counter. There is a kitchen table in the eat in area of the kitchen upstairs, and a large den area upstairs with an adjoining area that has a long slender table to eat on. Our home offers 5 bedrooms and 4 baths on Logan Martin Lake. We are located about 2 miles off of Hwy 231 in Cropwell, AL (which is 10 miles from Pell City, AL). There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main level with a large kitchen, walk in pantry, large living room and a laundry room. The basement offers one bedroom and 1 bath along with a mini kitchen, media room (with a glass garage door), a pool table and a workout room. The master suite is located on the upper level of the home with its own porch and large bathroom. All rooms offer queen size beds except for the master (which is a king bed). The basement bedroom also offers a full over full bunk bed. This home is on Logan Martin Lake. It has a man made beach with a gradual slope into the lake. Bring your boat. The boat launch is literally next door. Perfect for any vacation getaway or friends/family gathering.

We are offering a tiny home for rental at LaCoosa Marina on Lay Lake Alabama. Perfect for weekend getaways, great days on the lake, and family friendly environment. There is plenty of parking for large trucks and a boat dock. Feel free to bring your own boat and hit the water! There are also picnic tables all around, sandbar, and kayak rentals available. We want you to feel home away from home at LaCoosa! There are plenty of bass in the lake and boat parking as well. The space The tiny home has one main bedroom and loft upstairs. The main bed is a queen and the upstairs is a full mattress. There is plenty of space upstairs for a blow up mattress for additional sleeping space. You are welcome to bring any air mattresses. Parking: Parking is available to the right of the tiny home and there is additional parking at the marinas parking lot just across from the home. There is easy access entry and exit. The parking lot can accommodate over 100 trucks, trailers, and boats. Entrance: To enter the tiny home, please type in code sent to you through messages Garbage: The garbage can is located under the kitchen sink. There is also a bathroom garbage can near the toilet. If there is excessive trash, you may throw it away in the dumpster in the parking lot. It is located to the left of the boat storage. Laundry: The laundry detergent provided are Tide Pods. They can be found to the right closest of washing machine. You are welcome to it. Amenities: KAYAKS-We offer kayak rentals at the marina. Please call Melissa at 205-669-6628 for rental. Or if you know if you would like to rent prior to arrival, we will discount it for renting. Please message to reserve a kayak for $30 for entire stay. It will include the kayak, life vest, and paddle. We will have it at cabin for you at arrival. BOAT DOCK- There are 26 brand new wet docks total at the size of 12x24. Personal watercraft and jet skis are welcomed. EZ port, well lighted, and two separate boat launches are at your convenience. FISHING- Lay Lake is filled with bass, crappie, and catfish. You are welcomed to fish off the docks. GAZEBO LOUNGE/ PICNIC AREA- We offer a sandy area next to a gazebo lounge for all to enjoy! There are multiple seats and picnic tables with umbrellas surrounding the docks.Enjoy the beautiful lake view on a swing or around the fire pit.

Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee on the private master verandah. The second upstairs bedroom also has a queen bed and private attached bathroom. This room also has an attached verandah. A washer/dryer room is provided for use during your stay. Downstairs is the third bedroom and attached bathroom. This room has a queen bed and twin bunk beds. A formal dining room perfect for family dinners. The fully equipped kitchen with breakfast nook will make cooking meals easy. The lake house is a rustic lodge type house that is perfect for fishermen and families who want to enjoy Lake Logan Martin. The House has a large screened in porch and pier. The house is located in Lisa's Cove near Stemley Bridge off of Highway 34. It is easy to find by both water and land. The Address is 160 lisas Cove Talladega Al 35160. The beds consist of two king, one queen, 1 full and one set of bunk beds with a full on the bottom and twin on top plus a trundle bed in the livingroom. Completely furnished with central air-conditioning, dishwasher, stove microwave, coffee pot, cookware, charcoal grill, television with cable, DVD player, and outside stereo. To keep cost down we ask guest to bring Linens and towels. Pontoon boats are available to rent at Poorhouse Mariana. Do not use my neighbors boat ramp or ask them. We do not have a boat ramp. Poorhouse marina is 2 miles from house by road and water. Please keep off of grass after heavy rains with cars and trucks. Please do not park or drive between house and lake. Thank You ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION: 4 night weekday minimum for the months of June and July, Week Minimum for Memorial Day Week and Labor Day Week.
