• Surface Area: 180 Acres
Lake Howard which has area for boating, fishing, and pavilions; several neighborhood parks; the Sylaward Trail, a 15-mile (24 km) hiking and mountain-biking trail. A fourteen plus mile bike and hiking trail winds through the Talladega National Forest with multiple loops for long and short walks and bike rides. The trail is a somewhat level surface with enough hills to make it interesting. The views and wildlife opportunities are numerous. You can’t believe you are just outside the city limits of Sylacauga.

There is no entry fee to get into the park.
Daily fishing permit: $4.00
Launching your own kayak/canoe: $4.00
Single Kayak Rental: $15.00
Tandem Kayak or Canoe: $20.00
Renting bass buggy or john boat with trolling motors: $20.00

Annual fish and boat launch pass: $25.00 each
